What-Hooters Lunch for 8th Graders Field Trip

BERWICK, Pa. — for one group of central Pennsylvania eighth-graders, a recent field trip to Baltimore included lunch at Hooters — a restaurant better known for its busty waitresses than its food. The Berwick Middle School students were visiting the National Aquarium last week. Chaperones took them to various restaurants for lunch because the group of 100 was too large for a single place.
The Bloomsburg Press Enterprise reports Tuesday that one group of 15 to 20 students ended up at Hooters.
Superintendent Wayne Brookhart says that while he wishes the group's coed chaperones had chosen another restaurant, he has not received any complaints from parents. Hooters spokesman Mike McNeil says the restaurant chain often hosts groups, including sports teams and church organizations with teens and younger children

An Indian man has been charged with importing heroin into Australia using Bibles.
Police and Australian border officials announced Tuesday an international package containing 29 Bibles was searched on Feb. 20.
Eight of the Bibles were found to be hollowed out and contained concealed packages wrapped in carbon paper and plastic, police said. Further investigation revealed the packages contained approximately 900 grams of a light brown granular powder which tested positive as heroin. The heroin has an estimated street value of $1.3 million. A man was arrested Monday at Adelaide International Airport. He has been charged with importing a marketable quantity of a border-controlled drug.
The maximum penalty for this offence is 25 years imprisonment and/or a $550,000 fine.

Three days earlier, fish and wildlife officers issued a warning about jumping sturgeon in the Suwannee River in northern Florida.
This is the fifth reported case of sturgeon leaping into boats, according to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Three of the cases resulted in injuries to passengers. On May 14, a woman was injured after a sturgeon hit her on the back and, in the first report of the year, on April 27, another woman was showered in glass when a sturgeon jumped through her boat's windshield.

While her mates distracted staff in the outlet, the lady went into a private area in the back. We should mention that, while she entered the shop last month wearing trousers, she left in a long skirt and was notably struggling to walk, hence the police's safe-themed suspicions as to what she got up to in there.
