Texting bride
A BRIDE who could not be parted from her mobile phone sent one last text message as a single woman - while her wedding service was in full swing. The unnamed bride was captured on video as she retrieved the phone, which had been stuffed down the front of her white wedding dress. And while her father looks on and the preacher delivers his speech, she can be seen on the footage behind her veil typing out a text message before stashing the phone away again.
Professional videographer Jim Costa filmed the wedding in San Diego in California, US, and uploaded the clip to YouTube, where it has been viewed more than 135,000 times.Underneath the video, he wrote: "This is part of a wedding video I shot in August 2008 at the Mission Beach Women's Club in San Diego, CA. It was otherwise perfectly normal except for this one funny clip of the bride TEXTING just after her dad walked her down the aisle!"At one point, I noticed her doing it through my lens and I had to pull away from the camera to make certain I was seeing what I thought I was seeing. Totally funny!"

Why-Man who broke into home to watch TV is arrested

Jason Leon Bastrom, 32, claims the front door of the North Portand home was unlocked and entered the house because the doormat said 'welcome'. Frightened homeowner Jamie McGowan heard somebody playing the piano in another room of the house, and was especially spooked because it was so close to Halloween.Jamie, who's sisters and children staying at the house were sleeping, then called her mother who called 911 around . She also called her brother-in-law Greg Padden who lives near by.
Padden arrived on the scene before police and confronted the intruder who was watching television before hitting him for fear he could be armed and dangerous.  (metro.co.uk)

Wow-Police seek pink bikini burglar

Know any guys in the Indianapolis area who like to wear girl's swimsuits? If so, maybe you can help police find a man who broke into a day care center last week. Indianapolis Metropolitan Police on Friday released surveillance video from after Oct. 20 showing a man inside the Kidscape Learning Center in southwest Indianapolis.
The video shows the man — described as white or Hispanic and 5-foot-5 to 5-foot-7 with a long, black ponytail — trying on girl's bathing suits, police said in a release. Apparently finding a pink two-piece to his liking, he keeps it on as he explores the day care.

Lucky-Customer mistakenly handed cash instead of cold cuts

BERLIN - A butcher shop employee in the German town of Braunschweig inadvertently handed a customer a bag containing more than 2,000 euros ($2,835) in cold cash rather than the cold cuts she usually gets.
The 79-year-old pensioner paid five euros for her package of cold cuts and veal steaks. She said she was surprised to find more than she bargained for when she opened the package at home.
“I was completely flabbergasted,” the pensioner told Bild newspaper. She called the butcher shop but it had already closed. So she called the police, who later returned it.The owner of the butcher shop had packed the day’s take in a paper bag and placed it, as he usually does, next to the cash register. The employee mistook it for the customer’s cold cuts and unwittingly handed her the package.
