This is the shocking moment a crazed commuter launched an apparently random attack on a woman - pushing her on to the tracks of the London Underground. The 23-year-old victim struck up a brief

conversation with the thug and following a trivial row over the man's hat, he turned and shoved her on to the rails on the Northern Line at
Leicester Square
. She only missed the live rail by inches, and was able to pull herself back onto the platform with the help of other travellers before the next train came down the platform. Injuries to her side were so severe, witnesses initially thought she had been stabbed.

The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary arrested the man around Thursday during a traffic safety stop in Seal Cove.

Police said the same man, who wasn't named, was also arrested a month ago for the exact same breaches under the Highway Traffic Act.

However, in its native Thailand the title of the cook book by Saiyuud Diwong is not as strange as it sounds, as 'Poo' means 'Crab' and is also the chef's nickname. Aino Praakli's book on socks is also shortlisted alongside The Great Singapore Penis Panic: And the Future of American Mass Hysteria by Scott D Mendelson, which details the 'Koro' psychiatric epidemic that hit the island of Singapore in 1967.
Mr Andoh's Pennine Diary Memoirs of a Japanese Chicken Sexer in 1935 Hebden Bridge by Stephen Curry and Takayoshi Andoh is also in the running for the odd accolade. The book tells the story of Koichi Andoh, who travelled from Japan to Yorkshire in the 1930s to train workers at a hatchery business the art of determining the sex of one-day-old chicks.

Why Wives ban their husbands from visiting Italian cafe

After eight years running a bar, Laura Maggi suddenly found men beating a path to her door.
Not for the quality of her coffee and aperitifs, but because she had started appearing for work in highly revealing outfits.

Hundreds of male customers flocked there day and night, leaving their cars double parked in the surrounding streets.

Congestion became such a problem that the lady mayor announced she was considering an emergency bylaw to limit traffic in the area.
