A Cleveland man was busted for littering after he dropped a $1 bill on the ground. John Davis said he stretched his arm out his car window to hand some money to a wheelchair-bound panhandler at a highway exit ramp, reports Fox 8. Davis said he felt for the man, who was holding a sign that read, "Jesus loves you. Please help. “Obviously he needs some money or he wouldn't be out there," he told the news outlet. He rolled up some bills lengthwise and held them out. One of the bills fell to the ground, and the indigent man picked it up.A short time later, a cop pulled Davis over and ticketed him for the offence of "Throw paper out window," and in parenthesis, "money to panhandler," the report said.

Judge Robert Fournier said the extent of Joanne Talbot-Brisson’s decade-long fraud will likely never be known and called it a serious breach of trust against the seniors in her care and employer, Cumberland Lodge. She also endangered elderly patients by performing medical procedures. An investigation showed more than $200,000 missing from the lodge but only about $60,000 could be proven. She also stole more than $12,000 intended to pay a blind man’s drug bills and took $105,000 to “invest” for an elderly resident who has been left penniless.

The little girl thought she had lost her new bike forever when she tumbled off a rickety bridge over a muddy stream in Wellfleet, Mass., 42 years ago. But the bike has been found — by the now-grown woman's own wife. Lisa Brown tells the Cape Cod Times she was 11 when she lost control while riding over the Herring River in 1970 and fell in. She came up "smelling like a snapping turtle" but could not locate her bike in the muddy depths.Brown's wife, Deirdre Olinger, was walking along the stream this spring when she spotted a rusted bike tangled in the undergrowth about a quarter mile from the bridge.
