EUREKA, Calif. (AP) - A couple is dead and their 16-year-old son missing after being swept into the sea in Northern California while trying to save their dog. A state Parks and Recreation superintendent said the family was at a beach north of Eureka Saturday afternoon when the dog was pulled into the water by ten foot waves while chasing after a stick. Jones said the boy went after the dog, prompting his father to go after them. She said the teenager was able to get out, but when he didn't see his father, he and his mother went into the water looking for him. Rescuers retrieved the mother's body and the father's body washed up. The Coast Guard is still searching for the son. The dog survived.

Corpus pulled out his cellphone as two women started throwing punches at each other. And as the camera continued to record, the fight spread to three men. The video shows Black Friday shoppers  scrambling out of the way as the men crash into a barrier set up around an amusement area at the Galleria.

The Department of Health is surveying 4,100 women between 18 and 24 years old, giving participants a CVS gift card. Officials say the survey will help them understand women's need for and approach to family-planning services. The 46-question survey was sent out in September and October. Participants were asked how many men they had sex with over the last year, whether a man ever poked holes in a condom to get them pregnant and how they felt emotionally the last time they had unprotected sex.The state says the names of those who return the survey will be kept private.
